Charlton fans held a mock funeral for their club prior to Sunday’s Championship encounter against Middlesbrough at The Valley.
Addicks fans are furious with how they are being run, voicing displeasure at chief executive Katrien Meire and owner Roland Duchatelet.
Supporters carried a coffin to the ground before the match, before delaying proceedings shortly after kick-off by throwing beach balls on to the playing surface.
Charlton picked up only their seventh victory of the season, beating Boro 2-0 to move within five points of safety.
Middlesbrough themselves are in a minor crisis – with boss Aitor Karanka storming out of a team meeting after Tuesday’s defeat at Rotherham.
Karanka wasn’t present at The Valley, and is set for showdown talks on Tuesday in a bid to resolve the situation.
Boro now sit seven points behind leaders Burnley, and only two points clear of Hull and Brighton who are hunting the final automatic promotion spot.
