NY teen leaders protest tobacco giant

Nearly 100 teen leaders from New York travelled to Virginia to protest against a tobacco giant – and that includes two teens from Dolgeville.

Dakota Jeffers and Phoenix Longway are both freshman, as well as “reality check leaders.”

Altria makes the e-cigarette Juul, and in their sign in protest reads, “we will not be fuuled.”

It refers to the company blaming fruity flavors for fueling teen vaping, but continues to invest.

The two protested at a shareholder meeting.
